During each Pomodoro, eliminate distractions that could disrupt your focus. Put your phone on silent mode, close unnecessary tabs on your computer, and create a dedicated writing environment free from interruptions. Consider using website blockers or productivity apps to temporarily block distracting websites or apps.

Short breaks are an integral part of the Pomodoro Technique. Use these breaks to relax, stretch, and recharge. Step away from your writing space, take a brief walk, do a quick breathing exercise, or engage in a non-writing-related activity. These breaks provide a mental breather, preventing burnout and enhancing your ability to maintain focus in subsequent Pomodoros.

After completing a Pomodoro, take a moment to assess your progress. Reflect on what worked well and what could be improved during the session. Adjust your approach accordingly in the subsequent Pomodoros to enhance your writing experience and optimize your productivity.

While the traditional Pomodoro length is 25 minutes, writers can adapt it based on their preferences and writing flow. Some writers may find shorter intervals of 15 or 20 minutes more suitable, while others might prefer longer intervals of 30 or 40 minutes.
