For Blackdiary AB, integrity is important. We strive for a high level of data protection. In this policy, we explain how we collect and use personal data. We also describe your rights and how you can assert them.

You are always welcome to contact us if you have questions about how we process your personal data. Contact details are at the end of this text.

Blackdiary processes your personal data when you:

What is a personal data and how do we process it?

Personal data is all information about a person that can be directly or indirectly linked to that person. It is not only names and social security numbers, but also for example, pictures, IP addresses and e-mail addresses.

Processing of personal data is everything that happens with the personal data in the IT systems, regardless of whether it is about mobile devices or computers. This concerns, for example, collection, registration, structuring, storage, processing and transmission. In some cases, manual records may also be covered.

Personal data controller

For the processing that takes place within Blackdiary AB’s operations, Blackdiary AB is the personal data controller. (Organization number: 559389-5112).

What kind of data do we collect about you and why?

We mainly process your name and email address. We process your personal data in order to be able to communicate with you via the e-mail you signed up for. When purchasing products in the webshop, we process personal data such as name, address, social security number and e-mail in order to complete the order.

Actors who are independently responsible for personal data

We may share your personal data with certain other actors who are independent personal data controllers, for example authorities such as the Swedish Tax Agency, when we are obliged to disclose such data based on law or authority decision. When your personal data is shared with an actor who is an independent personal data controller, that organization’s privacy policy and personal data handling apply.

How long do we store your personal data?

We never save your personal data longer than is necessary for the respective purpose. Due to legislation, certain data in the bookkeeping, for example, needs to be saved for at least seven years.

What are your rights as a data subject?

As a registered user, you have a number of rights under current legislation. You have the right to receive an extract that shows which personal data we have registered about you. You can request correction of incorrect data and in some cases deletion.
